  • Cymerwch brawf llif unffordd (LFT) ar ddiwrnod 5

Os yw’r prawf LFT yn negatif ar ddiwrnod 5

  • Rhowch wybod am ganlyniad eich prawf llif unffordd
  • Dylech gymryd LFT arall ar ddiwrnod 6
  • Os yw eich prawf hefyd yn negatif ar ddiwrnod 6 ac nad oes gennych dymheredd uchel, gallwch roi’r gorau i hunanynysu ar ddiwrnod 6 gan fod y risg eich bod yn dal yn heintus yn llawer is a gallwch ddychwelyd i’ch trefn arferol yn ddiogel
  • Os oes gennych dymheredd uchel o hyd, neu os ydych yn teimlo’n sâl, dylech barhau i hunanynysu nes ei fod yn dychwelyd i normal, neu nes rydych yn teimlo’n well

Self-isolation: guidance for people with COVID-19 and their contacts

Here is a summary of the guidance. The full document can be viewed by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.

Main points:

COVID-19 has not gone away and is likely to remain with us globally.

Even though restrictions have been lifted, you should do all you can to keep yourself and others safe.

If you test positive on any COVID-19 test (PCR or LFT)

  • You should self-isolate for 5 full days. Day 1 is the day after your symptoms started or the day after you had the test, if you do not have symptoms (whichever is earlier).
  • Take a lateral flow test (LFT) on day 5.

If the day 5 LFT is negative

  • Report your LFT result.
  • You should take another LFT on day 6.
  • If your day 6 is also negative and you do not have a high temperature, you can leave self-isolation on day 6 as the risk you are still infectious is much lower and you can safely return to your normal routine.
  • If you still have a high temperature or feel unwell, you should continue to self-isolate until it returns to normal, or you feel better.

Dear Parents and Carers

Reminder for Parents and Carers to follow guidance and stop coronavirus spread

We are reminding Denbighshire parents and carers to follow Covid-19 guidance to help prevent further spread of the virus.   With concerns surrounding the spread of the Delta variant, Denbighshire County Council is asking residents, parents and carers to continue to do their part.

This includes following current Welsh Government guidance:

·         Follow social distancing rules with people you do not live with or who are not in your exclusive extended household.

·         Wear a face covering (if you are able to) in all indoor public places.

·         Only form an extended household with no more than two other households and they should stay the same.

·         Not meet with anyone other than your extended household indoors.

·         Not meet with more than five other people in indoor regulated settings, such as cafes, restaurants and pubs.

·         Meet no more than 29 other people outdoors, including in private gardens, public spaces and regulated premises, while maintaining social distancing.

·         Work from home if you can.

·         Minimise travel to areas of high prevalence.

·         You must self-isolate immediately if you, or anyone in your home, is showing any Covid-19 symptoms and go for a test as soon as possible.

Cllr Huw Hilditch-Roberts, Denbighshire County Council’s Lead Member for Education, Children’s Services and Public Engagement said: “Although confirmed cases in Denbighshire have recently been low we must not become complacent and remember to follow the published guidance.    This will ensure we keep confirmed cases to a minimum.”

“I urge everybody to be open and truthful when contacted by TTP and to share all the relevant information with the TTP Tracers and Advisors.    If you have any Covid symptoms please book a test as soon as possible and follow all guidance received.   This will keep everybody safe.”

“Parents and carers are reminded to follow and observe social distancing and wash hands regularly and when meeting people indoors keep windows and doors open to help bring in the fresh air. Rollout of the vaccine is continuing and I would encourage everybody offered the vaccine to accept it.

“Parents, carers, staff and students have all sacrificed a lot during the pandemic and on behalf of Denbighshire County Council I would like to thank you all.   Your support and commitment has been key in protecting our school communities and the wider community in general.”

You can now go for a free Covid-19 test if you have a wider range of symptoms which include flu-like symptoms, not caused by a known conditions such as hay fever, including muscle ache or pain, excessive tiredness, persistent headache, runny nose or blocked nose; persistent sneezing; sore throat and/or hoarseness, shortness of breath or wheezing and generally feeling unwell.

You can find the latest guidance from Welsh Government at https://gov.wales/coronavirus and you can book a test at http://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test, and for further information on the wider range of symptoms visit https://bcuhb.nhs.wales/covid-19/test-trace-protect/testing-broader-covid-19-symptoms/

Many thanks for your continued support

IMPORTANT MESSAGE – Wider Symptom Testing for COVID-19

Further to the COVID-19 briefing this morning, this is the information published by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board on wider symptom testing for COVID-19

https://bcuhb.nhs.wales/covid-19/testing-broader-covid-19-symptoms/wider-symptom-testing-faq/

Free COVID-19 test if you have a wider range of symptoms

You can now go for a free COVID-19 test if you have a wider range of symptoms.  As well as the three cardinal signs: fever, a new continuous cough or a loss/change of taste and smell; people are now able to get a test if they have other symptoms too.

These wider symptoms are:

  • Flu-like symptoms, which are not caused by a known conditions such may be hay fever, including any or all of: myalgia (muscle ache or pain); excessive tiredness; persistent headache; runny nose or blocked nose; persistent sneezing; sore throat and/or hoarseness, shortness of breath or wheezing;
  • Generally feeling unwell and a history of being in contact with a known COVID-19 case
  • Any new or change in symptoms following a previous negative test

The change is happening to help find hidden COVID-19 cases in our communities, and drive down the numbers of onward transmissions. The more tests are carried out, the easier it will be to spot early clusters of cases and possible virus mutations. This will help with easing restrictions in the future.

Residents are asked to consider taking a test if they are experiencing any of these wider symptoms and they are new, persistent and/or unusual symptoms for them.

Individuals who take a test because of these other wider symptoms are not required to isolate while they await their test result.  This includes children and school pupils who can continue to attend schools and childcare settings while they await a test result. However, children and adults with diarrhoea and or vomiting should remain off work or school and not attend childcare settings until they are symptom free for 48 hours even if their Covid-19 test is negative.

If individuals then receive a positive Covid-19 result, they and their household must then isolate. Households must also isolate if anyone develops any of the 3 cardinal Covid-19 symptoms while waiting for a test result taken on wider symptoms to come back.

But if you are experiencing one or more of the three most common COVID-19 symptoms (new persistent cough, fever and/or loss of taste or smell) you must continue to follow the NHS Wales Test, Trace, Protect guidance on testing and isolation and self-isolate with your household whilst you await a test result.

NEGES BWYSIG – Profi Symptomau Ehangach ar gyfer COVID-19

Yn dilyn briffio COVID-19 bore ‘ma dyma’r wybodaeth gafodd ei gyhoeddi gan Fwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Betsi Cadwaladr am brofi symptomau ehangach o COVID-19

https://bipbc.gig.cymru/covid-19/profi-symptomau-ehangach/cwestiynau-cyffredin-am-brofi-symptomau-ehangach/

Bellach gallwch fynd am brawf COVID-19 am ddim os oes gennych chi ystod ehangach o symptomau

Yn ogystal â’r tri symptom mwyaf cyffredin : gwres /twymyn, peswch parhaus newydd neu golli / newid blas ac arogl; mae pobl bellach yn gallu cael prawf os oes ganddyn nhw symptomau eraill hefyd.

Y symptomau ehangach hyn yw:

  • Symptomau tebyg i ffliw, nad ydynt yn cael eu hachosi gan gyflyrau hysbys fel twymyn gwair, gan gynnwys unrhyw un neu bob un o’r symptomau canlynol: myalgia (poenau yn y cyhyrau); blinder gormodol; cur pen parhaus; trwyn yn rhedeg neu drwyn llawn; tisian yn barhaus; dolur gwddf a / neu grygni, prinder anadl neu wichian;
  • Yn gyffredinol yn teimlo’n sâl ac wedi bod mewn cysylltiad ag achos hysbys o COVID-19
  • Unrhyw symptomau newydd neu newid yn dilyn prawf negyddol blaenorol

Gwneir y newid i helpu i ddod o hyd i achosion COVID-19 cudd yn ein cymunedau, a lleihau nifer y trosglwyddiadau wrth symud yn ein blaenau. Po fwyaf o brofion a gynhelir, yr hawsaf fydd hi i adnabod clystyrau cynnar o achosion a mwtadau posib i’r firws. Bydd hyn yn helpu i leddfu cyfyngiadau yn y dyfodol.

Gofynnir i breswylwyr ystyried cael prawf os ydyn nhw’n profi unrhyw un o’r symptomau ehangach hyn os ydyn nhw’n symptomau newydd, parhaus a/neu anghyffredin iddyn nhw.

Nid yw’n ofynnol i unigolion sy’n cymryd prawf oherwydd y symptomau ehangach hyn hunan-ynysu tra eu bod yn aros am ganlyniad eu prawf. Mae hyn yn cynnwys plant a disgyblion ysgol a all barhau i fynychu ysgolion a lleoliadau gofal plant wrth iddynt aros am ganlyniad prawf. Fodd bynnag, dylai plant ac oedolion â dolur rhydd a neu chwydu aros i ffwrdd o’r gwaith neu’r ysgol a pheidio â mynychu lleoliadau gofal plant nes eu bod yn rhydd o symptomau am 48 awr hyd yn oed os yw eu prawf Covid-19 yn negyddol.

Os yw unigolion wedyn yn derbyn canlyniad Covid-19 positif, yna rhaid iddyn nhw a’u cartref hunan-ynysu. Rhaid i aelwydydd hefyd hunan-ynysu os bydd unrhyw un yn datblygu unrhyw un o 3 symptom mwyaf cyffredin Covid-19 wrth aros i ganlyniad prawf a gymerir yn gysylltiedig â’r symptomau ehangach ddod yn ôl.

Ond os ydych chi’n profi un neu fwy o’r tri symptom COVID-19 mwyaf cyffredin (peswch parhaus, gwres / twymyn a / neu golli blas neu arogl) rhaid i chi barhau i ddilyn Canllaw Profi, Olrhain, Diogelu GIG Cymru ar brofi ac ynysu a hunan-ynysu gyda’ch cartref wrth aros am ganlyniad prawf.
