Capel Waengoleugoed, Y Waen

Yn ddiweddar, cawsom eitemau celf a chreffft gan Capel Waengoleugoed, Y Waen. Fe wnaethom ddefnyddio’r eitemau ar gyfer gwneud gwaith ‘collage’ ar gyfer cystadlaethau Celf a Chrefft yr Urdd. Diolch yn fawr iawn iddynt am yr eitemau celf a chrefft.

Yna, dros yr wythnos yma, mae disgyblion blwyddyn 1 a 2 wedi bod yn ysgrifennu cardiau Pasg ar gyfer ymwelwyr Capel Waengoleugoed. Fe wnaeth pawb ysgrifennu gweddi’r Pasg yn eu cerdyn. Llwyddodd pob disgybl ym mlwyddyn 1 a 2 i ysgrifennu cerdyn i’r ymwelwyr. Diolch yn fawr iawn i bawb am ysgrifennu mor daclus ac am gyflwyno neges y Gwanwyn ar Pasg yn eu cardiau.

 

Recently, we received art and craft items from Waengoleugoed Chapel, Waen. We used the items to create our collages for the Urdd collage competitions. Thank you for the art and craft items.

During this week, year 1 and 2 pupils have been busy writing Easter cards for the people who attend ‘Capel Waengoleugoed. Every pupil wrote a special Easter prayer in each card. Thank you to all of the pupils for writing neatly in their cards and for writing about the Easter and Spring so wonderful in their cards.

Cynllun Coed Clawdd Offa Project

Yn ystod tymor yr Hydref roedd disgyblion bl 3 a 4 wedi cymryd rhan yng Nhynllun Coed Clawdd Offa. Bu’r disgyblion yn plannu coed ar hyd y llwybr sydd ar y bryniau uwchben yr ysgol ac hefyd yn gwneud gwaith celf.

Mae arddangosfa o’r gwaith yn y galeri yn Mharc Gwledig Loggerheads tan dydd Mercher 8fed Mawrth.

During the Autumn Term pupils in years 3 and 4 took part in the Coed Clawdd Offa project. The pupils planted trees along the path on the hill above the school and also produces some craft work.

There is a display of the work in the gallery at Loggerheads Country Park until Wednesday 8th March.

Mae dros 2,000 o breswylwyr wedi cael taliad tuag at eu biliau tanwydd

Mae ceisiadau ar gyfer cynllun cymorth tanwydd gaeaf i breswylwyr Sir Ddinbych dal ar agor.

Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych yn gweinyddu Cynllun Cymorth Tanwydd Gaeaf Llywodraeth Cymru sy’n rhoi cyfle i aelwydydd cymwys hawlio taliad o £100 tuag at dalu biliau tanwydd gaeaf.

Ers iddo agor ar 13 Rhagfyr mae dros 4,000 o bobl wedi ymgeisio ar gyfer y cynllun ac mae dros ddwy fil o daliadau eisoes wedi eu prosesu.

Mae’r taliad ar gael i aelwydydd cymwys sydd eisoes wedi cael cymorth gan o leiaf un o’r cynlluniau a restrir isodunrhyw bryd rhwng 1 Rhagfyr 2021 a 31 Ionawr 2022 , beth bynnag fo’r dull o dalu biliau; os ydych yn gyfrifol am dalu’r bil tanwydd neu fesurydd a rag-dalwyd;

  • Cymhorthdal Incwm
  • Lwfans Ceisio Gwaith Seiliedig ar Incwm
  • Lwfans Cyflogaeth a Chymorth Seiliedig ar Incwm
  • Credyd Cynhwysol
  • Credydau Treth Gweithio

Dywedodd y Cynghorydd Julian Thompson-Hill, Aelod Arweiniol Cyllid, Perfformiad ac Asedau Strategol Cyngor Sir Ddinbych: “Ers cyflwyno’r cynllun, mae’r cyngor wedi bod yn gweithio ar y cyd â swyddogion Llywodraeth Cymru i sicrhau bod holl breswylwyr cymwys yn Sir Ddinbych yn cael taliadau cyn gynted â phosib.”

“Er bod nifer fawr o breswylwyr cymwys eisoes wedi cael eu taliad, rydym yn parhau i geisio sicrhau fod preswylwyr cymwys nad ydynt wedi prosesu eu cais eto, yn gwneud hyn cyn ei bod yn rhy hwyr.”

Rhaid cael bob cais erbyn 18 Chwefror, 2022.

Over 2,000 residents have received payment towards their fuel bills

Applications for a winter fuel support scheme for Denbighshire residents are still open.

Denbighshire County Council is administering the Welsh Government Winter Fuel Support Scheme which offers eligible households to claim a one-off £100 payment to provide support towards paying winter fuel bills.

Since it opened on December 13 over four thousand people have applied to the scheme and over two thousand payments have already been processed.

The payment is available to qualified households who already receive support from at least one of the below schemes listed below at any time between 1 December 2021 and 31 January 2022, regardless of how bills are paid; provided you are responsible for the payment of the fuel bill or pre-payment meter;

  • Income Support
  • Income Based Job Seekers Allowance
  • Income Based Employment and Support Allowance
  • Universal Credit
  • Working Tax Credits

Cllr Julian Thompson-Hill, Denbighshire County Council’s Lead Member for Finance, Performance and Strategic Assets, said: “Since the scheme was rolled out, the council have been working in conjunction with Welsh Government officers to ensure that all qualifying residents in Denbighshire receive payments as quickly as possible.”

“Although a large number of qualifying residents have already received their payment, we are still reaching out to ensure that eligible residents who haven’t yet processed their application, do this before it is too late.”

All applications must be received by February 18, 2022.

Cystadleuaeth Creu Poster / Design a Poster Competition

Llongyfarchiadau mawr i bawb am gymryd rhan yn y cystadleuaeth creu poster casglu sbwriel yn ddiweddar ar gyfer y pentref. Diolch yn fawr iawn i ‘Tremeirchion 2000’ am noddi’r gystadleuaeth ac hefyd am brynu’r ‘Fruit Pastels’ i bob disgybl am gymryd rhan yn y gystadleuaeth. Dywedodd y beirniaid fod y gystadleuaeth o safon uchel iawn ac eu bod wedi mwynhau ei feirniadu yn fawr iawn. Llongyfarchiadau mawr i’r 4 a ddaeth i’r brig. Edrychwn ymlaen i weld eu posteri yn cael eu harddangos o gwmpas y pentref dros yr wythnosau nesaf.

Congratulations to everyone who took part recently in the litter picking poster competition for the village. Thank you very much to ‘Tremeirchion 2000 for sponsoring the competition and also for purchasing the ‘Fruit Pastels’ for every pupil who took part in the competition. The judges told me that it was a high standard of a competition and that they had enjoyed judging the competition. A huge congratulations to the 4 pupils who won the competition. We are looking forwads to seeing their posters being displayed around the village during the next few weeks.

 

Grant gan Cyngor Cymunedol / Grant from the Community Council

Yn ddiweddar, fe wnaethom dderbyn grant o £150 gan Cyngor Cymunedol Tremeirchion, Cwm a’r Waen er mwyn prynu adnoddau Cymraeg i’r ysgol. Rydym wedi derbyn yr adnoddau. Diolch yn fawr i’r cyngor cymuned am y grant hwn.

Recently, the school received a grant of £150 from the Community Council of Tremeirchion, Cwm and Waen to purchase Welsh resources for the school. We have received the resources. Thank you very much to the Community Council for this grant.

“Hadau Gobaith” / “Seeds of Hope”

Yn ddiweddar, derbyniodd yr ysgol hadau blodau’r haul gan archfarchnad Morrisons, Dinbych. Cafodd pob disgybl ar draws yr ysgol gyfle i blannu’r hadau ac heddiw aethom ar blodau o amgylch y pentref ar gymuned leol. Diolch yn fawr iawn i Morrisons am yr hadau ac i’r disgyblion am eu plannu.

Recently, the school received sunflower seeds from the supermarket Morrisons, Denbigh. Every pupil in the school had an opportunity to  plant the seeds and today we took the plants around the village and the local community. Thank you very much to Morrisons for the seeds and to the pupils for planting them.

Ar Ddydd Gwener, 18fed o Fehefin byddwn yn cefnogi elusen lleol #MoveAMarathonforEthan – yn anffodus bu farw Ethan Ross yn dilyn damwain ar yr A55 ger Llanelwy ym mis Medi.

Byddwn yn cynnal ‘Marathon’ ein hunain yn yr Ysgol a gofynnwn i bawb wisgo GLAS.  Pan fydd pawb wedi rhedeg neu gerdded mor bell a maent yn gallu byddwn yn adio pellter pawb i weld y cyfanswm.  Gweler rhagor o wybodaeth a ffurflen noddi isod:-

On Friday, 18th June we will be supporting a local charity #MoveAMarathonforEthan – Ethan Ross lost his life following a collision on the A55 near St. Asaph in September.

We will be holding our own ‘Marathon’ at School and asking everyone to wear BLUE.  When everyone has ran or walked as far as they can we will add up the miles and see what was our total.
