Ein Ffenestr Dathlu’r Nadolig / Our Christmas Celebration Window

Prynhawn ‘ma dyma ni’n goleuo ein ffenestr, sef rhif 13 yn y pentref. Diolch i bawb a fu yn ymuno gyda ni ar ddiwedd y dydd. Dyma’r plant yn canu carolau ar y buarth fel rhan o’r dathliad. Gan fod hi’n rhy ‘olau tu allan dyma ni’n gwahodd ein cynulleidfa i mewn i’r ysgol lle roedd posib gwerthfawrogi’r ffenestr. Yn dilyn sgwrs am beth y buasent yn hoffi ei gynnwys yn y ffenestr lliw,bu’r plant yn brysur iawn yn paratoi pob darn unigol. A dyma’r canlyniad. Diolch i bob aelod o staff am helpu’r disgyblion. Rydym yn gobeithio y cewch fwynhad wrth edrych ar ein ffenestr.

This afternoon we lit our window, the 13th in the village. Thank you to everyone who joined us at the end of the school day. The children sang carols on the yard as part of the celebration. As it was too light outside we invited our audience into the school where it was possible to appreciate the window. Following discussion on what they would like to include in the window, the children had been very busy preparing the individual pieces. And this is the result. Thank you to every member of  staff for helping the pupils. We hope you will enjoy looking at our window.

Noson grefftau’r plant / Children’s craft evening

Diolch yn fawr iawn i bawb oedd wedi cefnogi noson creu grefftau CRhA yr ysgol neithiwr. Roedd yn dda gweld cymaint o blant, rhieni a cyn-ddisgyblion. Roedd hi’n brysur iawn a pawb i’w gweld wedi mwynhau. Yn yr holl brysurdeb anghofiais dynnu lluniau efo’r camera!

Ni wnaethom ganu carolau eleni o dan y goeden Nadolig sydd ar fuarth yr ysgol gan y byddwn yn canu am 2.45 pnawn dydd Mercher 13 Rhagfyr fel rhan o ddathliad goleuo’r ffenestr Nadolig. Hoffwn ddiolch eto i Mr a Mrs Jones Pengwern Farm am y goeden Nadolig.

Diolch i CRhA am drefnu’r noson unwaith eto, ac i bawb oedd wedi cyfranu bwyd, diod a bric-a-brac, ac i’r rhai oedd wedi rhoi eu hamser i helpu. Diolch hefyd i Mrs Rachel Roberts – oedd mi oedd ganddi hi gamera- am dynnu lluniau plant a teuluoedd. Yr adborth gefais gan rieni oedd eu bod yn hyfryd .

Many thanks to all who attended the PTA children’s craft evening. It was nice seeing so many pupils, parents and past-pupils. It was very busy and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Unfortunately, as it was so busy I forgot to take pictures with the camera!

We did not sing carols under the Christmas tree on the yard this year as we will be singing at 2.45 on Wednesday 13 December when we are  lighting the Christmas window. Many thanks to Mr and Mrs Jones Pengwern Farm once again this year for donating the Christmas Tree.

Many thanks to the PTA for arranging the evening, to everyone who provided food, drinks and bric-a-brac and those who  gave their time to help. I would also like to thank Mrs Rachel Roberts – she did have her camera- for taking children and family photographs. The feedback I received from parents was that they were really lovely.

Casgliad Banc Bwyd / Food Bank Collection

Diolch yn fawr iawn i rieni , plant a staff yr ysgol am gasglu nwyddau ar gyfer y banc bwyd yng Nghapel Mawr, Dinbych. Rwyf wedi derbyn llythyr hyfryd o ddiolch gan Mrs Wendy Baxter, ysgrifenyddes Plwyf Eglwys Tremeirchion am gyfraniad ni yn Ysgol Tremeirchion, fel rhan o’n dathliad Diolchgarwch. Cred Mrs Baxter yw mai dyma’r cyfraniad mwyaf y mae’r banc bwyd wedi ei dderbyn. Da iawn pawb. Mae’n dda clywed ein bod yn gallu rhoi cymorth i deuluoedd yn ein cymuned mewn amser o angen.

Thank you to parents, children and staff for collecting items for the food banc at Capel Mawr, Denbigh. I have received a lovely letter of thanks from Mrs Wendy Baxter, secretary of the Church Parish of Tremeirchion for the contribution from Ysgol Tremeirchion as part of our Thanksgiving celebration. Mrs Baxter thinks its the largest donation the food bank has received. Well done everyone. It is good to hear that we are able to support families in our local community in their time of need.

Mr Jones

Croesawu yr Esgob Gregory / Welcoming Bishop Gregory.

Bore ‘ma bu’r Esgob Gregory yn ymweld a’r ysgol. Cawsom wasanaeth croesawu yn yr Eglwys ac yna bu aelodau o’r Cyngor Ysgol yn ei dywys o gwmpas yr ysgol. Cyn iddo fynd dyma’r Esgob yn treulio amser gyda blwyddyn 5 a 6 a chymryd rhan mewn trafodaeth ac ateb cwestynnau gan y disgyblion. Cawsom wybod tipyn amdano erbyn diwedd y bore.

Diolch i bawb oedd wedi dod i’r gwasanaeth, i’r disgyblion am eu perfformiadau a’u darlleniadau, ac i’r Esgob am ddod i’r ysgol. Rhoddodd yr Esgob wahoddiad i’r plant eistedd yn ei sedd arbennig sydd yn yr Eglwys Gadeiriol yng Nghaerdydd- rhywbeth efallai i ni ei wneud tro nesaf y byddwn yn y Brifddinas.

This morning Bishop Gregory visited our school. We held a service of welcome in the Church and then members of the School Council gave the Bishop a tour of the school. Before he left us he spent some time with year 5 and 6 and took part in a question and answer session. We learnt quite a lot about him by the end of the morning.

Thank you to all who came to the service, to the pupils for their performances and reading, and to the Bishop for visiting our school. Bishop Gregory invited the pupils to sit on his chair which resides in the Cathedral in Cardiff- something we may well do next time we visit our capital.

Gwasanaeth Croesawu’r Esgob Gregory / Welcome Service for Bishop Gregory

Byddwn yn cynnal Gwasanaeth yn yr Eglwys i groesawu’r Esgob Gregory i Ysgol Tremeirchion am 9.30yb ar Dydd Llun 3ydd Ebrill. Mae croeso i bawb ymuno gyda ni. Cliciwch y ddolen isod i wybod mwy am yr Esgob Gregory.
