Cefnogi eich plentyn adref gyda darllen a mathemateg / Supporting your child at home with reading and maths

Darllen – a deall

Cofiwch ddarllen yn gyson gyda’ch plentyn. Mae gennyn syniadau i’ch helpu ar y wefan yma o dan y ddolen ‘Rhieni’ neu cliciwch y ddolen isod.

Mae gan pob plentyn gofnod darllen a llyfr darllen. Cofiwch nodi yn y cofnod pan rydych wedi darllen adref gyda’ch plentyn. Gall hyn gynnwys oedolion eraill yn eich teulu, brawd neu chwaer hyn, nain a taid. Mae’r drafodaeth  am yr hyn y mae eich plentyn wedi ei ddarllen mor bwysig ar  darllen ei hun. Ar ddiwedd y dydd y cyfle i ddarllen a mwynhau sydd yn bwysig.

Reading – and understanding

Please remember to read on a regular basis with your children. There are some ideas on this website to try and help you and can be accessed by following the link ‘Parents’. or click the link below.

Every pupil has a reading log and a reading book. Please remember to record in the log when you have read at home with your child. This could also include other members of your family, including older brothers and sisters, grandparents. The discussion with your child about what they have read is as important as the reading. However, the enjoyment of reading is the most important aspect to consider.
