The school is located in the rural village of Tremeirchion near St Asaph and Denbigh, Denbighshire and serves the village and surrounding areas. It is a Welsh language, Voluntary Controlled school. The school is designated Welsh School according to the language policy of the education authority; this means that Welsh is the main medium of work and life at the school, but the aim is to ensure that the pupils are fully bilingual by the time they transfer. OUR VISION Our vision here is that every child who attends Ysgol Tremeirchion has full access to the Ysgol Tremeirchion Curriculum. Together as One Family we ensure the best possible start and a solid Foundation in a happy, safe, caring and Christian environment; in a natural, stimulating and challenging atmosphere; all this to ensure that the learners reach their full potential and are lifelong learners. We provide broad and balanced opportunities and experiences, experiences by doing, using our local area and all the stakeholders of the School and the community.
