The school is located in the rural village of Tremeirchion near St Asaph and Denbigh, Denbighshire and serves the village and surrounding areas. It is a Welsh language,
Voluntary Controlled school.
The school is designated Welsh School according to the language policy of the education authority; this means that Welsh is the main medium of work and life at the
school, but the aim is to ensure that the pupils are fully bilingual by the time they transfer.

Our vision here is that every child who attends Ysgol Tremeirchion has full access to the Ysgol Tremeirchion Curriculum.
