North Wales Community Alert Card (b)

I would like to draw your attention to the North Wales Community Alert recently launched by North Wales Police and partners.

Our aim is to see all the schools in North Wales signing up and sharing it with parents too!

It is a free community messaging service. By registering you can receive up to date information on crime, missing and wanted appeals, crime prevention advice, engagement events and general policing activity in your local area.

You can reply to messages and provide feedback to your local neighbourhood police team on the issues that matter most to you, helping us to work together to make North Wales the safest place in the UK.

Registration is complete free, quick and simple.

Visit www.northwalescommunityalert.co.uk and sign-up today.

For more information, ask your Schools Police Officer.

 ***Christmas Giveaway

If people sign up to the North Wales Community Alert before Tuesday 21st December 2021 they will be entered into a free prize draw for your opportunity to win a crime prevention survey and £100 voucher to buy crime prevention equipment.

The free crime prevention survey will be carried out by one of qualified North Wales Police Designing Out Crime Officers. They will visit your home at a time that is convenient to you and provide security advice on how best to protect your home, property and family.

North Wales Community Alert is a free community messaging service for people who live, work and visit North Wales.

We would encourage you to invite staff, parents, friends, family and neighbours to join as soon as possible to not only get a chance of winning but also to help protect themselves and improve their safety as they receive valuable crime prevention alert messages as to what crimes and scams are going on in their area.

This offer is provided courtesy of North Wales Police and Community Trust (PACT) a registered charity which supports projects that reduce crime and disorder. For more information on PACT visit: https://www.pactnorthwales.co.uk/

 Terms and conditions:

To qualify you must sign up and verify (by responding to your verification email) by 21/12/2021

The draw will take place on 22/12/2021 and the winner will be notified by an alert before 24/12/2021

The Christmas draw is open to individuals only and not companies, however we welcome businesses to join our North Wales Alert so they too can receive valuable crime prevention advice and alerts relevant to businesses.

This offer is not open to employees of North Wales Police, but again we welcome North Wales Police colleagues to join the scheme and encourage their families, friends, and neighbours to join also.

The draw will be undertaken by an outside company not a member of North Wales Police who assist in the management of the North Wales Community Alert, however any prospective winners will be checked by North Wales Police to ensure they are not employees / businesses. (In the event that an employee or business is drawn we will request another draw is made)

The survey will be completed in January by one of our fully qualified North Wales Police Designing Out Crime Officers.

The voucher will be available to spend after the survey with one of our suppliers of crime prevention equipment. The winner is free to choose any equipment they want provided it is considered a crime prevention aid and no more than a total of £100 (price includes VAT)

You must agree to be contacted for the purpose of informing you that you are the winner, you have the right to unsubscribe at any time if you no longer wish to receive any further alerts.
