As one of the Church in Wales Schools, Christian ethos and values play an important part in the school. We demonstrate our Christian ethos and values in many ways, including through Religious Education, Whole School Service and less formally as part of our day to day life. Listed below you will themes that we present during our weekly Services. The pupils currently attend the Church every fortnight on a Monday morning. The Service is led by Mrs Nesta Davies and her team. Mr Gareth Williams, Bishops Visitor, will lead our Services each half term as will Mr Colin Mansley our Vicar. We also invite other agencies and visitors to take part during the year. Whole School Service themes: The start of the new year and end of year People that help us and make a difference Thanksgiving Our Nations Heroes Care and Love towards creatures God’s care and caring for others in our Country and across the world War and peace Anti-bullying and positive attitudes towards others Barnados, Operation Christmas Child and other charities Celebrating special events – Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving The story of the birth of Christ Nature in the Bible, the World around us, care for our world, and space Water Jesus’s early years Healthy living Saints Book day and Authors Homes and Places of Worship Beliefs and Parables As well as delivering a weekly theme, we share our Christian Values and focus on one each week in all aspects of the schools daily routine: Friendship, Service, Endurance, Hope, Thankfulness, Reverence, Compassion, Creation, Trust, Wisdom, Justice, Forgiveness, Peace, Humility, Koinoinia (Fellowship) There is an open invitation to parents and member of the community to join us in our Services in the Church.
